Are you ready to face your fears? There are a number of important things to know about Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios Tours before you register. First, this is real. This is not a cheap effort to imitate Fear Factor and please the studio audience. The show is very real, and is done by an audience like you. No pampering here!
If you still want to participate, just visit the casting office, which is located near the Terminator trip in the amusement park. You must meet certain physical requirements to ensure that you can handle what will be asked of you. You also have to fill out and sign the liability form, making Universal Studios and the Fear Factor harmless from injuries or damage you might experience.
Before the event began, several members of the audience who were not chosen to participate were called on stage to face smaller challenges, such as eating various bugs. Winners of the pre-show contest win big prizes, such as annual tickets to theme parks. This was followed by a warm audience with the host.
The show consists of six contestants selected from the casting office - if you are lucky, you might be one of them! They dressed as contestants in the tight uniforms of the original Fear Factor dresses. A series of challenges, such as challenges for Fear Factor, were presented to the contestants. Fall from high ground, skill tests, and of course, famous dirty challenges. During the show, random audience members were chosen for another challenge - like sticking their heads into a tank full of scorpions.
If you've watched Fear Factor, and told all your friends that you can handle everything thrown at the contestants, be careful. This is your great opportunity to prove yourself - or your friend's chance to prove you wrong! Win or lose, Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios Tours can be the highlight of your visit! If you want to be on the show, visit the casting office as soon as you go to the park to make sure you meet physical requirements - and if you don't meet the requirements, ask about being in the audience.
